CEHS semester programs include language exchanges with Spanish college students interested in improving their English. The objective is to foster lively and fruitful linguistic experiences. By the end of the program, students typically highlight these exchanges, which often become friendships, as one of the most enriching aspects of the program.
The intention, of course, is to have students speaking as much Spanish as possible outside of class as they do in class. These language exchanges, along with the family stays and opportunity to take a class at the Segovia campus of the University of Valladolid, help in achieving this goal.
